Engines of Narrative online narrative prose workshops are offered several times a year in various iterations. All are suitable for fiction or creative nonfiction writers and writers working in long or short form. They can be taken multiple times.
EON provides a supportive yet challenging community and an ongoing conversation for the purpose of helping each writer develop, finish or revise a manuscript. All workshops and events of the 24-Hour Room are governed by our community ethos of Radical Editorial Empathy.
In addition to the main weekly meeting, EON offers:
•Discussion of Craft Topics tailored to the specific interests of the writers enrolled
•Written Feedback from the Workshop Leader
Manuscript-Submission Based EON sessions are organized much like traditional writing workshops, where writers exchange manuscripts, read and one another’s work and discuss literary craft, plus occasional outside readings and conversations about the business of publishing.
